Legendary Romano Drom, a steady star on both the international world music scene as well as Hungarian Olah Gypsy music, celebrate their 20th anniversary at Budapest Ritmo. The festive occasion will feature their brand new album, “Give me Wine”, published by Riverboat Records and landing an impressive 7th of the World Music Chart right after release. The band will recall their eventful past with the help of guest artists and visuals; and pay tribute to famed singer and dancer Antal Kovács “Gojma”, who founded the band with his son.
20 for 20 – many renowned artist who have played in Romano Drom will contribute, totalling 20 musicians; Zoltán Orosz accordion artist, Kornél Horváth awarded percussionist, Róbert “Catfish” Harcsa leader of Budapest Bar, Gazda Bence and his quartet, and world-famous Miquéu Montanaro from France will join, among others.
