When DJ Chief Boima first heard the authentic mbira master Sorie Kondi, the idea for a joint project was born. Kondi, who took on the name of his beloved instrument plays like a king and chants simple but straightforward lyrics on the perils of the poor, to which the DJ supplies hard-hitting techno beats.
