Cristina Estrada is working for Mercat de Música Viva de Vic since 2008 and responsible for the overall coordination and its international promotion. The Mercat de Música Viva de Vic is a music industry event that takes place in Vic (close to Barcelona) and attracts a large number of audiences and professionals interested in quality live music. MMVV is a meeting point for artistic directors, festivals, institutions, private companies, promoters, agencies, labels and all sorts of professionals of the music industry and the objectives are to facilitate business development, to exchange experiences and know-how, and to buy and sell music. The programming comprises all kind of styles and is designed for a wide audience. Stages distributed all around the city, both free and paid access, and four days of live music transform the city of Vic in the centre of the country’s musical and cultural activity.
Cristina Estrada is the representative of MMVV at the Spanish Network of Theaters, Auditorius and Festivals of Public Ownership, and is member of the Music Commission of this association, and also is the representative of MMVV in the European Forum Of Worldwide Music Festivals and European Jazz Network , and is regularly attending the major music industry’s international events. She is Bachelor of Information Sciences at the Autonomous University of Barcelona.
