Márton Beke

Márton Beke (1977) is a community development professional, adult educator, cultural- and youth expert. He concentrates on local and regional communities, initiatives; as potent actors and generators of social-economical development in towns and villages. He has worked with NGOs and companies active in regional development, and government organizations carrying out national development programs. Currently he is head of the ‘Active Communities’ program aiming to support community development and professional activity at cultural institutions. Prior to this role he was Assistant Head of Department at the Ministry of Human Capacities. He was in charge of  coordinating the Ministry’s work related to Intangible Cultural Heritage, leading the Hungarian Delegation of The Intergovernmental Committee of Intangible Cultural Heritage between 2013-2015.
