Record Producer, Founding Director WOMEX

Ben Mandelson (UK) is a leading freelance world music record producer, active musician and was part of the key group of UK music professionals who launched the current ‘world music’ genre. He is Founding Director of WOMEX, and Supervisory Board member for the parent company Piranha Arts, which is based in Berlin, Germany. WOMEX  is the world’s biggest professional music conference, trade fair and showcase for World, Roots, Folk and Traditional music – an annual October-end Europe-based event.

The next edition, our 23rd, will be in the UNESCO Creative City of Katowice, Poland from 25–29 October 2017. See you there!!
