Self-taught bard from Cadiz, Javier Ruibal is much loved and respected in his home region as well as across the country – the Spanish Royal couple handed him the most prestigious award in contemporary music in 2017. Flamenco is a potent ingredient, however Ruibal’s music is more than a modern take on the traditional genre.
