Dejan Vujinović is the artistic director of Etnofest, Kanjiža Jazz and Jazziré music festivals in Serbia. Etnofest brings the finest world music to its audience for the past 15 years.  The main stages are always to be found around Lake Palić in Serbia, just a few miles from the Hungarian border. Jazziré festival, is the only experimental / improv / avant-garde / free-jazz music event in the town of Subotica, while the  Kanjiža jazz festival, is one of the most recognisable jazz events in Serbia, known for its sharp programming edge: It is the place where the roots meet contemporary improvisation.
Dejan holds an MA in marketing, with special interest in integrated marketing communications for cultural events. He is involved in several transnational cultural cooperation projects, where the most recent is the “2020 Troubadours” project implemented in the roam of the Creative Europe programme. In addition, he is currently working as a program manager for the Interreg IPA CBC Hungary-Serbia programme as well.
