Singer Branka Básits braids together melodies from Hungarian and Serbian folk tradition. The Junior Prima awardee took a deep dive into her family’s bicultural background as a teenager – the richness of her experience and the power of her voice opened many doors for her as she went to sing in popular Hungarian folk bands. Branka Trio was founded last year, this will be their first performance at Budapest Ritmo.
