Parno Graszt

23. OCTOBER 21:00 // MÜPA Béla Bartók National Concert Hall

Not just another Gypsy band: Parno Graszt is a multiple award-winning formation with an unearthly energy.

Parno graszt means “white horse” in Romani, which is a mythical creature of local folklore and a symbol of purity and freedom. They bring this untamed energy on stage while keeping true to their roots in rural Hungary.

After 3 studio records and tours in Europe, India, and the USA, Parno Graszt was a showcase-selected artist at WOMEX 2009.

This October they will perform alongside 2020 WOMEX-selected Hungarian showcase artists at the Budapest Ritmo feat. WOMEX autumn festival, at the Palace of Arts Budapest.
