April 7-10, 2022 Budapest
From the High Tatras to the Polish countryside – Budapest Ritmo 2022 brings you the sounds of beautiful Poland in cooperation with the Adam Mickiewicz Institute. Music documentaries, intimate concerts and an authentic Polish dance house awaits the audience. See the event schedule above.
The Adam Mickiewicz Institute is a state-funded cultural institution, whose mission is to present Polish culture and heritage on the international scene. We are focusing on promoting art and design exhibitions, film and theatre festivals, conducting research projects and supporting publications. The AMI also includes active cooperation with foreign institutions to guarantee the presence of Polish artists on diverse cultural events. The Institute also runs the Culture.pl website — a daily updated service with information about the most interesting phenomena related to Polish culture: https://culture.pl/en
The “Polish Focus” at Budapest Ritmo 2022 is a part of AMI’s programme “Polish Traditions Anew”. Poland’s traditional culture, often reconstructed and filtered by present artistic sensitivity, presents a diverse and genuine ethnic heritage. Our goal is to initiate, support and promote new Polish music projects around the world so that international audiences can explore the richness of Polish traditions.
