Miklós Both is a Hungarian composer, performer, ethnomusicologist, and cultural manager. He is Director General of the Hungarian Heritage House and founder of the Polyphony Project, Ukraine’s largest online folk music archive. Trained in aesthetics and communication, he is currently pursuing a PhD in ethnography. His extensive fieldwork spans over 20 countries, documenting endangered musical traditions. He has lectured, published, and presented widely across Europe and beyond. His musical career includes gold and award-winning albums with Napra and solo projects, and he has composed for film, theatre, and national ensembles. A public cultural figure, he has served as jury member and curator for numerous national arts prizes. In recognition of his work, he has received the European Citizen's Prize.
