He is known for creating his unique musical style called Sik\u00f3, which blends traditional Guinean rhythms such as gumb\u00e9, tina, and singa with afrobeat and world music. He began his career in 2000, first exploring rap music before gaining experience with music groups such as Solo Crioulo and Mantambeza. He later launched a successful solo career and became a music entrepreneur by creating his own label and producing music compilations.
