Montreal-based Eli Camilo is an internationally touring singer, trumpeter, and composer, as well as the frontman of Slavic Dub Punk band, Dumai Dunai. His work focuses on the traditional music of eastern Europe, notably Ukraine, Serbia and North Macedonia, and his compositions take influence from these folk music styles.

Eli also fronts the authentic Balkan wedding brass band, Domaći Trubači, and co-leads Murmurosi, an ensemble centered around Ukrainian A Capella singing. He has released well over a dozen full-length albums with various groups including Lemon Bucket Orkestra, Boogàt, Geoff Berner, Bad Uncle, and the Unsettlers.

Called “an intelligent partying kind of band” by Songlines Magazine, since their first concert in 2022 Dumai Dunai has released 3 singles and were officially selected to showcase at Tallinn Music Week in Estonia, Pop Montréal and Mundial Montréal. Their debut album, “Sometime Between Now and Never” will be released in June 2024.
