Vladimír (nicknamed Potkan) is an ethnologist by education, an editor by profession, and a radio DJ at heart. He works as an editor of the scientific journal Slovenský národopis/Slovak Ethnology and is a long-time music editor of the Hudba sveta_FM radio show on Rádio_FM, RTVS (Radio and Television Slovakia), Bratislava. He is also a member of the World Music Chart Europe panel. Since 2015, he has been a collaborator of the World Music Festival Bratislava and the World Music from Slovakia platform.
