Bojan Djordjević, was born in Belgrade, Serbia. He is a lawyer, with great interest in music.
He started to write about music for Student and Youth magazines in 1987. Since then he has been collaborating and writing for music magazines in Serbia, Slovenia, Macedonia, Italy and UK. He started the first ever radio show about experimental and alternative music in Serbia, on independent Radio B92 in 1990. This weekly show, under the name «Disco 3000» (now world music), has been broadcasted ever since. but now on Radio Belgrade 3.. Bojan is long time member of World Music Charts Europe panel of 50 radio DJs. In 2000 Radio B92s music production put him in the A & R position for experimental and world music, where he produced several CDs since then. He has compiled bestseller compilations „Srbija: Sounds Global“ and „Rromano Suno“.
In Cultural Centre «Rex» Bojan Djordjevic established International New Music Festival «Ring Ring» in 1996. Programme includes avant-garde, contemporary, art rock, alternative, free jazz, experimental, electroacoustic and world music. He was artistic adviser of „Gandusiana“ festival and the concert season and festival in Rovinj, Croatia. Bojan Djordjevic was and still is acting as manager for some artists from the Balkans, like Boris Kovac, Svetlana Spajic, Divanhana, Dzambo Agusevi Orchestra. With Vladimir Djordjevic, of „Multikultivator“ he created and programmed festivals (with great succes) in Belgrade, Serbia like „Umbria Jazz – Balkanic Windows“ 2005-2009 and „Adriatico Mediterrraneo 07 & 08“, as well as „Euro Med 2009/10“.
They also organised „Swiss Balkan Creative music Workshop“ with musicians from Bosnia-Herzegovina, Switzerland, Macedonia, Bulgaria and Serbia. Since 2012 Bojan is organizing „Todo Mundo“ premiere world music festival in Belgrade. In 2013 and 2015, he organized festival „Swiss Music Day“ in Belgrade, Novi Sad, Ljubljana, Zagreb, Tirana and Skopje together with Swiss based association „Swiss Balkan Creative Music“. In 2014 he organized festival „Zajedno Zusammen“ in Belgrade, where Austrian and artists from Serbia meet and performed together.
His latest project is EUTERPE, with partners from Italy, Croatia and Greece got support from EU – Creative Europe program and this project will last from January 2015 till May 2016.
