Padraic Boran was a member of the successful bid team for Galway2020 that saw the West of Ireland city designated as one of the two European Capitals of Culture for 2020. He has been a promoter and producer of music events since the mid 80s and currently runs his own event management company that provides project management services to large scale music and sporting events , both in Ireland and internationally. He lives in Galway with his wife, Patricia , a children’s author , and their two teenage children.
