Budapest Ritmo is the festival of new connections, encounters and discoveries organized by Hangvető and CAFe Budapest. The 2018 edition will again bring you the most exciting world music gigs from Hungary and the world.

Three days of unique cooperations between Hungarian and international artists, exciting productions, a glimpse behind the scenes through professional programs and a showcase day dedicated to up and coming talent. Budapest Ritmo brings a choice selection of world music to a wide audience. You may hear such legends as Ladysmith Black Mambazo, coming to Budapest for the first time; or Muzsikás and Muzykanci performing together. Discover the rising star of ethio-funk Gili Yalo, Finnish folk-hop by Tuuletar, or the wonderfully gifted Tcha Limberger. Catalan rumba, griot music from Mali, among other rare musical feats also feature, while on Sunday you can experience a show entirely dedicated to the Olah Gypsy vocal tradition.
