Vibrant, mystical and exciting, Ayom plays with the sounds of the Southern hemisphere and of the Lusophone world. The multicultural band of 6 members, representing 6 nationalities, is led by singer-percussionist Jabu Morales. Their sweet and elemental performances make dancing hard to resist; their debut album shocked world music journalists around the world, calling it a record where every minute is a surprise. Ayom was selected for the WOMEX 21 showcase and played a show impossible to forget.
