How Music Dies (or Lives): De-colonizing international music

As a springboard for further discussion, Grammy-awarded producer and author Ian Brennan (Tinariwen, Zomba Prison Project, Ustad Saami), in conversation with Glitterbeat founder Chris Eckman, talks about fair representation in music. They spell out how linguistic, and regional and economic diversity is often stifled by corporate monopolization and entrenched industry gatekeeping.
