Regional outlook: What’s Missing? Expanding Networks Beyond MOST

The panel traces the disconnected spots in the Balkan music ecosystem, and seeks new junctions. Albania, Montenegro, and Bosnia and Herzegovina had limited participation in the regional development project MOST, and may require further leverage: Albania mostly engaged diaspora artists, with new festivals Za and Cloud Festival breaking the pattern; while Montenegro remained absent. Led by Bojan Djordjevic and co-organized by Sounds of Europe, the discussion aims to strengthen music networks in these countries.
