Colorful, warm, and rhythmic, Amadou Bagayoko & Mariam Doumbia have lit up the world with their music since the 1980s. As icons of contemporary West African music, their journey grew alongside the challenges faced by their home country, Mali. Despite hardship, their songs became hopeful anthems for many. With their final album and a return concert in Mali, they aim to unite people, inspire change, and continue spreading joy through music. The film presents their 51-year career, following their journey between Mali, France, and Spain, paying touching tribute to the work of Amadou, who passed away in 2025.
