As the music director of Radio Proglas in Brno, Czech Republic, since 1995, he has recorded several thousands of radio shows about folk, world, global, jazz, blues and alternative music, including many interviews with the artists. He is also engaged in written music journalism, collaborating with a number of newspapers, magazines and websites, but also with Czech (public) Radio and Czech Television. He is a member of many juries and music commissions, including the Anděl awards (Czech “Grammy”), where he is in charge of selecting the jury for the Jazz and Folk genre categories. Since 2020, he has been the secretary and head of the jury of the expert panel of World Music Charts Europe. In 2023, he became the program director of the festival Marathon of Music in Brno.
