Peter Dimitrov is the founder and director of Bulgaria’s acclaimed A to JazZ Festival. Committed to promoting jazz, world, and improvised music, he actively fosters engagement among young audiences and elevates Bulgaria’s music scene on the international stage. With a background in music, media, and cultural economics, Peter has successfully developed sustainable models for the music and festival industries in Bulgaria while building a strong international network in cultural and artistic exchange. He works also in advancing sustainability in the festival sector and strengthening collaborations between industry stakeholder across the Black Sea region and Europe. Peter served as a media producer and a host at Darik Radio and as director of the prestigious international media festival Mediamixx. Currently he runs a promotion company, a corporate events company, and a non-governmental organization focused on supporting artist export, international cultural dialogue and sectoral policies.
