Marina Pommier, a French music programmer, has been active in the World Music scene since 1994. She has lived and worked in Paris, Brussels, and Budapest and is now based between Budapest and Southwest France. She began as a tour manager for the Gipsies of Rajasthan before managing Hungarian Gipsy band Romano Drom and South Slavic ensemble Söndörgő. Since 2002, she has curated Roma, Balkan, and global music programs at Sziget Festival, including the Roma Tent, World Music Stage, and Global Village. Currently Global Music Advisor for Sziget Cultural Management, she also programs the World Music stage at Vidor Festival. Passionate about bridging minority music with wider audiences, she continues to foster cultural connections worldwide. In addition to curating, she is actively involved in the worldwide booking of international artists. Since 2017, she has developed traditional and world music concert series in rural France through Le Monde dans mon Village (The World in My Village).
