Juli Deák (*2000) is a Polish-Hungarian flutist and saxophonist. She is currently pursuing her master’s degree at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm. After receiving formal training in classical music, she began exploring improvisation, extended techniques and circular breathing on the flute. Juli has participated in various music productions with KammarensembleN and performed at festivals such as Gränslandet Festival, the V4 Festival, and the Művészetek völgye. Her artistic work focuses on her solo project, The Breathing Project, which blends multiple genres and brings a fresh approach to contemporary music, as well as the Haldamas x Hulajdusza project, with which she is performing at the Ritmo Showcase. In addition to her artistic work, she is an entrepreneur and actively involved in organizing the Norberg Festival and the Sound of Stockholm Festival.
