Program Coordinator at the Croatian Cultural Center and Founder/Manager of the international festival of world music and gastronomy, Porto Etno. With a master’s in Cultural Studies and additional expertise in audience development, community engagement, and cultural production, Jelena has a rich background in the cultural sector. She played a pivotal role in Rijeka’s successful bid as the European Capital of Culture 2020 and served as its Creative Producer. As an external expert, she contributed to Mostar’s ECoC application and collaborates on cultural projects, focusing on audience development and research. In her free time, Jelena is a music producer, blending traditional ethnic sounds with disco grooves and modern synths, creating a unique fusion of heritage and contemporary music.
