I am the concert coordinator of Huu Bac Quintet. Led by Vietnamese-Canadian composer Huu Bac Quach, the ensemble features the dan bau (Vietnamese one-string zither), erhu (Chinese two-string fiddle), quena (Andean bamboo flute), violin, guitar, bass, and drums.

Drawing from Huu Bac’s international journey — studying in China, performing in Peru, and collaborating with artists worldwide — the Quintet blends traditional textures with jazz improvisation. Their music invites audiences on a journey across cultures, combining heritage and modernity in a vibrant, genre-defying sound.

Recognized internationally, the Quintet has performed at festivals and venues around the globe, captivating audiences with their adventurous spirit and musical virtuosity.
