She knows what she’s doing – you’ll think a few beats into DJ Sab’s set. An anthropologist and fully devoted music nerd, DJ Sabs has many personal links and stories connecting her to the Balkans. The journey she offers is of course structured – it begins with a sampling of roots and hybrid music, to set the tone, then evolves into a full range of Balkan inspired pop, from punk to disco. She’s developed her style over 13 years of mixing tracks and various musical languages, and making the crowds dance.
