Olivier Rey is a musician who has spent 20 years writing for a wide range of musical projects, and has been involved in the music world for over 30 years in the organisation of major French festivals. He is director of Babel Music XP, the economic and cultural forum for contemporary world music, held in Marseille, France. A veritable Mediterranean hub for world music, the event is held every year in March and brings together the entire music industry around an international trade fair, professional meetings and a festival.
