Brass & woodwind band from Austria, combining the zest of mariachis with the charm of a boyband. Federspiel formed over ten years ago, but their fresh take on all music brass or woodwind is unflinching. Mexican melodies spiced with yodel, Balkan brass strewn with samba; this is Blasmusik you haven’t heard before. Apart from the band’s creativity and humour you get a good dose of technical skill, to satisfy even the sternest connoisseurs of the genre. Sporadic appearance of Lederhosen a definite plus.
